In March of this year AJ recieved an award for showing exceptional character during school. There was an incident at school where AJ stopped one of his friends from getting into a fight. Had his friend got into this altercation he would have been sent to an alternate school. His friend has had problems in the past and was struggling to start over. AJ was presented the "Character in Action Award" at the Lee County Courthouse in Auburn, AL. There were several children that were Awarded the "CIA" however AJ and three others were chosen to be presented the Award in person. GOOD JOB AJ!!!
At the conclusion of the school year AJ was recognized for achieving "A" honor roll for the ENTIRE year. Obviously AJ got the smarts from Erica and looks from Dad!!! Great Job AJ.

WOW, AJ! Way to go! Your friend is very lucky to have you as his friend. I am so glad to hear that you "stepped in" and did what you knew was right. It makes me very proud to know that you made a difference in someone elses life. You have such a caring heart. Keep up the good grades! I know you are such a hard worker! I hope you have some fun plans for the summer!
